Spring Green 2026 Season: D-R and Seekonk Kick Off New Campaigns

Posted

As an eventful local winter sports season for the communities of Dighton-Rehoboth and Seekonk have come to an end— the spring season will have plenty of more fun in store for these two towns until the end of the school year come late June. As the weather begins to warm up (not consistently of course) and the school year enters its final stretch, both Dighton-Rehoboth and Seekonk are gearing up for competitive and exciting spring campaigns across multiple sports: Baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, and track. Teams are all looking to build momentum early and establish themselves as the top contenders in their respective conferences.

Young underclassmen talent stepping into bigger roles and experienced players— especially seniors giving it their very last go— aim to lead by example as each program feels like they have something to prove. Bitter annual rivalries, exciting matchups, and stellar performances are sure to define the season as both communities support and rally behind their hard-working student-athletes in pursuit of successful spring sports seasons in 2026.

Here. We. Go.

In addition, Dighton-Rehoboth has named lacrosse senior Cullin Craffey and girls tennis senior Mia Saviolakis as the school’s students of the month for March. Craffey was recognized for his outstanding leadership, positive influence, and supporting the youth lacrosse program within the community. Saviolakis was commended for her dedication, leadership, and continued excellence within the girls tennis program— especially being an outstanding leader and helping her younger teammates develop successfully.

While the Seekonk girls indoor track team accomplished some outstanding feats this month. Track stars Hayden Robinson, Julianna Dutra, Olive McCann, and Cloutier all competed at nationals last month in March.
