Seekonk Scouts Troop 1 and Troop 9 held their Court of Honor to award rank advancement and merit badges. Scouts earned a variety of merit badges to include automotive maintenance, snowsports, horsemanship, swimming, and scuba diving. Troop 1 and Troop 9 honored several new Scouts for achieving the beginning rank of scout and two Troop 1 Scouts for achieving the rank of Eagle. Eagle is the highest rank a scout can achieve. Approximately, 5% of scouts achieve the rank of Eagle.

Seekonk Scouts spent a weekend camping at Maplepark Campground in Wareham, Massachusetts. During the weekend camping trip Scouts completed a 22 mile bicycle ride on the Shining Sea Bike path from Falmouth to Woods Hole. At the end of the trip, three scouts completed their Cycling Merit Badge. Scouts finished the weekend swimming, playing games, and enjoying ice cream.

Troop 1 and Troop 9 Scouts enjoyed a daylong canoe trip to Galilee, Rhode Island. During the trip, Scouts stopped to cool off swimming and cleaning up garbage at a local beach.
