Seekonk Public Schools Recognizes District's Principals during National Principals Month

Posted

Seekonk — Superintendent Rich Drolet would like to recognize the four principals of the Seekonk Public Schools and thank them for their hard work and dedication as part of National Principals Month.

Each October, the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) recognize National Principals Month. Through nationwide efforts at local, state and federal levels, research initiatives and appreciation events, National Principals Month aims to honor school principals for their significant impact on the success and well-being of their students.

Dr. Drolet would like to recognize Seekonk High School Principal Dr. William Whalen, Hurley Middle School Principal Alexis Bouchard, Aitken Elementary School Principal John Haidemenos and Martin Elementary School Principal Bartholomew Lush.

"Though we appreciate our school principals every day, October is a month for us to recognize all they do and their efforts to support our students, staff and families in our Seekonk Public Schools," Superintendent Drolet said. "I would especially like to recognize and thank our principals for their tireless work over the summer to develop our return to school plans."
