Seekonk High volunteer students/faculty

Posted

Christmas arrived early to our home, as eight great helpful Seekonk High School students and Lacrosse coach, Zach Giorgis appeared, rakes, barrels, tarps, leaf blowers in hand, they had all volunteered their beautiful Saturday morning to assist two Seekonk Senior residents in the clean-up of our leaf laden property.

This was a fledgling volunteer program organized by Seekonk High School Assistant Principal, Matthew Bosh, who coordinated the process with Seekonk Veterans Agent, James LaFlame. Over two dozen student volunteers and several teachers, along with Mr. Bosh, offered their services to five homes in town. We were fortunate recipients of their generosity of time and energy, it felt like we won the lottery!

Kudos to the Seekonk School Department for allowing this volunteer program, much appreciated!
