Rehoboth 8th Grader Goes Big For Doorways

Posted

“Every weekend, as we run our food pantry out of the parking lot at the old North School, we see cars pull up and pop their trunks to deliver donations large and small” says Evan Fasteson of Doorways. “It’s really incredible” agrees Tim Breen, another Doorways volunteer. “Most of the donors prefer to remain anonymous, and many of them offer good wishes for the success of the Doorways mission. We get really great community support.”

Last week, one of our donors was Ryan Moitoso, an eighth grader from Rehoboth who made the donation in honor of a friend who has volunteered at Doorways. In spite of all the grim news we have seen in the past year, here is the good news: young people care. They work to make the world a better place. God bless them.
