Elaine T. Petter, 85, of Seekonk, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francis Turbit and Margaret (Harrigan) McNamara and the late William McNamara.
Mrs. Petter was the owner and operator of All Points Travel for many years. She was a graduate of Tufts Medical School earning her Bachelor’s degree in education. She was a member of the Republican Committee in Seekonk and a volunteer at the Seekonk animal shelter. Mrs. Petter was a kind and loving mother who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She leaves two children, Courtney Petter of Rutland, MA and Gerald D. “Carter” Petter, Jr. of Seekonk and family friend, Kristen Canty.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk. Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours Thursday, 5-7.
