Born on August 14, 1937, in Seekonk, Massachusetts, she spent her entire life in the community she cherished and remained deeply rooted in the town she called home.

Dolores was the devoted wife of Anthony D. Andrews, Jr., and together they shared more than 70 years of marriage. Their long and faithful union was a testament to enduring love, mutual respect, and a lifetime of shared memories. She was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Ferreira) Axile, and she carried the values of family, faith, and hard work throughout her life. She was a loving mother to Glenn Andrews and his wife Lori of Rehoboth, MA, Keith Andrews and his wife Bonnie O’Regan of Chelmsford, MA, and the late Wayne Andrews. She was also the mother-in-law of Vivienne Andrews. Dolores was the cherished sister of Manuel Axile of Seekonk and the late Raymond Axile, Edward Axile, and Madeline Axile. She was a proud grandmother to Melissa Andrews and Nicole Lewis and her husband Erik, and adoring great-grandmother to Declan, Kassin, Mila, and Callie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren who held a special place in her heart.

A woman of steady devotion and quiet strength, Dolores spent many years working as a Medical Secretary for Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. Her work was marked by professionalism, kindness, and care, and she was respected by those who knew her for the dependable and compassionate manner she brought to every task. Her presence in the workplace reflected the same thoughtful spirit she shared with her family and community.

Dolores was a lifelong resident of Seekonk and remained deeply connected to the town and the people around her. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and lived out her faith through service and devotion. Her church community was an important part of her life, and she found strength and comfort in her beliefs. She was known for being loving, kind, and faith-filled, qualities that were evident in the way she treated others and the way she carried herself each day.

In her personal time, Dolores enjoyed crafting and took great pleasure in caring for her plants. She found happiness in the simple, meaningful routines of life and especially treasured time spent with her family. Her home and heart were filled with warmth, and she created a nurturing presence that will be remembered by all who knew her. Whether sharing time with loved ones, tending to her interests, or offering a kind word, she brought gentle joy to those around her.
