Dark Urban Fantasy Author Wayne A. Elderkin

If you enjoy Halloween, ghost stories, supernatural mysteries, or fantasy adventures that blend the ordinary world with the extraordinary, this program is for you! Join local resident and author Wayne A. Elderkin at the library as he introduces his new novel, The Last Desposyni (published October 10, 2026). This book launches The Book of Souls Saga, a five-book dark urban fantasy series filled with paranormal crime, supernatural warfare, and mythic stakes. Wayne will share a reading from his book, discuss the inspiration behind its supernatural characters and dark themes, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at his journey from writer to self-published author. You will learn what it takes to bring a book from concept to publication.

A book sale and signing will follow the presentation. This program is free and open to the public. For planning purposes and to receive program updates, please register in the online Events Calendar at www.seekonkpl.org/events.
