Adults Summer Reading Club: Tales & Mocktails

Seekonk, MA – 6/1/2021 – Add some extra enjoyment to your summer reading with the Seekonk Public Library Adults Summer Reading Club: Tales & Mocktails. Online registration begins June 1 for the program which runs eight weeks. After registering you can look forward to:

-weekly emails for mocktail recipes beginning the week of June 20
- book clubs for Fiction, Nonfiction, and eBook picks (audiobooks welcome!)
-a giveaway for the first twelve active participants
-prize drawings for active participants

Begin the celebration now by borrowing and reading one or more of the following:
• Born a Crime by Trevor Noah for the discussion on June 29 (nonfiction)
• The Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante for the discussion July 12 (fiction)
• Libertie by Kaitlyn Greenidge for the discussion July 14 (ebook on Hoopla)

An Overdrive eBook option will be available at registration.

Adult Services Librarian Michelle Gario says, “Summer is a time when many adults can finally enjoy some recreational “tales,” whether in ebook or print book format. The mocktails are just for fun! Participating in book clubs is a great way to share your reading experience and socialize, mocktails optional.”
