Odete D. (Dias) Pacheco

Odete D. (Dias) Pacheco, 80, of Seekonk, passed away on Tuesday, January 10,2023 at home surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of Nuno L. Pacheco; they have been married for over 57 years.

Odete was born in Sao Miguel Azores, the daughter of the late Joao and Irene Dias.

She was a at home day care provider.

Mrs. Pacheco has lived in Seekonk since 1977 coming from Providence and previously Portugal. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk.

She will always be remembered for her kindness , warmth, beauty, elegance and humor and also for being an amazing cook.

She loved to cook, she was also such an important person in raising her grandchildren. She was truly loved by all.

Besides her husband she is survived by her son Mark Dias Pacheco and his wife Ginny Pacheco of Seekonk, her daughter Susan Riordan and her husband Kevin Riordan of Seekonk. Her brother Joao Dias of North Providence, and her sister Irene Maciel of East Providence. Mrs. Pacheco was the grandmother of Ryan Riordan, Meredith Riordan, Sarah Riordan, Evan Pacheco, and Owen Pacheco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 16, 2023, at 9:00am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, burial will follow in Seekonk Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
