Marguerite M. (Mullaney) Hanley, 80, of Seekonk, MA, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of John D. Hanley, Jr., they had been married for sixty years. Born in Providence on April 5, 1942, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter F. and Margaret (Caito) Mullaney. She was a resident of Seekonk forty-six years.

Marguerite was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Seekonk, where she was an active participant in the chapel program, honoring Jesus. She was a quilter, quilting instructor, outstanding baker and food producer. In addition, she ran a consignment craft shop out of her home seasonally for twenty plus years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Michael, John and Christopher; four grandchildren, Meghan, Zachary, Joshua and Aaron; a great granddaughter, Amelia; a sister, Regina A. (Mullaney) Pike; and finally her beloved dog, Bear. She was the sister of the late Patricia F. Mullaney and Elizabeth E. “Liz” Donnelly.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Ave, Seekonk, MA, followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
