John “Jack” Wassmer, 84, lifelong resident of Seekonk MA, died in his Pawtucket RI home on Monday October 17th, 2022. John was born in April 1938 to Walter and Elsie Wassmer of Seekonk and graduated from Seekonk Public Schools. John served honorably in the Air Force as a mechanical engineer prior to his discharge in 1959. ‘Jack’ was a member of Ironworkers Local 37 where he enjoyed a long career, and made many friends, prior to his retirement. John was a motorcycle enthusiast and spent much of his time in retirement riding in Key West FL.

John is survived by two daughters; Linda Kozlowski of Attleboro MA, and Susan (Richard) Landry of Pawtucket RI, two granddaughters; Meagan (John) Videto, and Stephanie (Joshua) Geltrude, and one great-grandson; Damian Geltrude. John is preceded in death by a brother, his sister Evelyn, his daughter Sherry, and his wife of more than 40 years Elisa.

Many of John’s loved ones were with him in his final days; his ashes will be scattered in Key West FL.
