Jane A. (Mitchell) Taylor, 81, formerly of Seekonk,MA, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Allan R. Taylor.

Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Marion E. (Benson) Mitchell, she previously lived in Lincoln,RI, North Attleboro and Seekonk, MA, before moving to North Port, FL.

Jane was a 1959 graduate of Pawtucket West High School andwas formerly an active member and Worthy Advisor of the Pawtucket Assembly No. 3, Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She was a bookkeeper at Narragansett Coated Paper for twenty years before retiring. Jane loved to knit, sew, and bake, and she and Allan loved travelling, cruising, boating, dancing, and spending time with family & friends. She was a parishioner and choir member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Pawtucket for many years, and St. Nathaniel’s Episcopal Church in North Port, FL.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Provost (Thomas) of Attleboro, MA, Carol Savard of Wakefield, RI, and Bethany Boisvert (Arthur) of Cumberland, RI; two sisters-in-law, K. Louise Mitchell and Nancy Mitchell, both of North Attleboro, MA; six treasured grandchildren, Raymond Savard III (Melissa), Courtney Wise, Brianna Savard, Matthew Provost, Ashley Boisvert, and Nicholas Boisvert; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Mitchell and Leonard Mitchell. A special thanks to Harold McShane for his loving care and companionship.

A Requiem Eucharist will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 50 Park Place, Pawtucket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited.
