James G. Nascimento
James G. Nascimento 52, of Seekonk, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston.
He was born in Providence, RI., the son of Cheryl Ann (Gibbs) Nascimento of Riverside, RI. and the late George Wayne Nascimento of Riverside, RI.
"Jimmy/Jim" Nascimento was the Chief Information Officer of East Commerce Solutions in East Providence, RI., for over 22 years.
He has lived in Seekonk, MA for the last decade, before that coming from Riverside, RI. He also spent a notable amount of time living in Florida when younger.
Mr. Nascimento had a great passion for computers and technology to which he helped many people in these areas. Enjoyed watching sports, mostly the Patriots, Red Sox, and NASCAR. Also enjoyed music, especially old school hip-hop/rap and much more. He had an affinity for cars, specifically the brand Porsche to which he owned one for many years.
Above all else he loved providing and taking care of his children. He loved to spend time with them by taking them out to eat at great restaurants.
His children that he is survived by are, Brady Philip Nascimento of Nashville, TN., Aiden James Nascimento of Seekonk, MA., and Hailey Madolyn Nascimento of Seekonk, MA.
He is also survived by uncles and aunts, Ed and Lisa Medeiros of Seekonk, MA., Carl Gibbs of Nashville, TN., Kurt and Noreen Salzillo of Port Richey, FL., Carolyn Burgess of Riverside, RI., Guy Gibbs of RI., and Robin and Mark Camelli of RI.
He was the Godson of the late Claudia Medeiros of Riverside, RI., and joins the mother of his oldest son Brady, the late Kara Nascimento of Woonsocket, RI.
He is also survived by numerous cousins as well as friends who were family to him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visiting hours on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4:00pm- 8:00pm in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. With a Prayer Service at 7:30pm in the funeral home.
