Fun, Free, Virtual Programs for Tweens and Teens at the Library

The Seekonk Public Library presents the following virtual programs for students in grades 6-12.

*Star Wars Trivia Night
Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 6:00 PM
May the Fourth Be with You! This virtual trivia contest is for teens and adults with encyclopedic knowledge of the Star Wars Universe! Play as an individual for team. Please RSVP online.

*Teen Advisory Board
Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM
The Teen Advisory Board is a group of committed volunteers who get together each month to chat, play games and plan upcoming library programs. Participants can earn community service credit for attending. An application is available on www.seekonkpl.org/teens.  

*Teen Virtual STEAM Program: Sonic Pi

We will help unmask the mystery of making digital music with a Virtual Workshop on Sonic Pi Software. Sonic Pi is a programming environment that allows you to make sounds and music with coding. It can be done with a desktop PC, playing back high-definition video and making MIDI music. Please RVSP online.

*Teen Virtual Craft: Paper Quilling
Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 3:00 PM
Pick up a supply kit and get together online to learn this colorful artform made with strips of paper and a special tool. You will learn how to make a greeting card with a simple design. Please RSVP online.
