Donald W. Brunelle, 57, passed away unexpectedly after catching an award-winning bass at a recent fishing tournament in Taunton, on Sunday, April 10, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Gail A. (Zwinklis) Brunelle for twenty-six loving years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Richard C. and Ida M. (Gingras) Brunelle. Don resided in Pawtucket most of his life until moving to Seekonk in 1997.

He worked in construction for many years at his family’s business, Brunelle Modular Homes of Tiverton. Don was an avid fisherman, a devoted husband and loyal family man. He loved an occasional good stiff drink and cigar, and spending time with his family and many dear friends. Don will be lovingly remembered as a fun-loving man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures.

Besides his loving wife, he leaves four brothers, Raymond R. Brunelle and his wife, Sharon, of Attleboro, Robert M. Brunelle of Fall River, David J. Brunelle and his wife, Ann, of Attleboro, and Scott P. Brunelle of Pawtucket. He was the favorite son-in-law of, Richard Zwinklis and his wife, Margaret of Pawtucket. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Donna Rowland and brothers-in-law, Frank E. Zwinklis, Steven M. Zwinklis and David J. Zwinklis. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews; Nicholas Brunelle, Kimberly Cunha, Matthew Brunelle, Joshua Brunelle, Jonathan Brunelle, Jason Brunelle, Kristen Jackvony, Scott Brunelle, Molly Wicklund, Casey Rowland, Jaron Berman and Seth Berman.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Services on Thursday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
