Charles H. Duranleau
Charles H. Duranleau, 79, of West Avenue, Seekonk, MA, died unexpectedly on October 25, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Dianne C. (Bolton) Duranleau.
Born in Providence, a son of the late George and Elizabeth (Daggett) Duranleau, he lived in Seekonk, MA for 60 years.
Mr. Duranleau was a Real Estate Manager for the J.J. McHale & Sons, Pawtucket for 26 years before retiring in 2007. He was a former Town Planner for the Town of Seekonk, MA.
Charles was a graduate of Rhode Island College 1967 and earned a Master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island 1975. He was a member of the East Providence-Seekonk Rotary Club, the Seekonk Masons and the American Planning Association.
Charles enjoyed fly fishing, traveling, working outside, gardening and spending time with his loving grandchildren.
Besides his wife of 57 years, he is survived by a son, David C. Duranleau and his wife Jean of Warwick; a daughter, Deena L. Duranleau and her husband Peter Touborg, MA; five grandchildren, Brian, Jonathan, Kathryn, Charles and Margaret and one great grandson, Lewis. He was the brother of the late Marie Duranleau.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 2, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Seekonk Cemetery, Dexter Street, Seekonk, MA.
