Anne Elizabeth April (Maxwell)

Anne Elizabeth April (Maxwell), 78, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Anne was predeceased in life by her parents George Hood Maxwell & Helen Lee Maxwell, and by her two brothers Michael Maxwell, Geoffrey Maxwell, and her sister Nancy George.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 55 years, Robert April of Seekonk. Anne leaves a legacy of love, memories, and laughter with her two daughters, Susan (April) Hicks and her husband Brian, and Kristi April and her partner Doug Gentile. Anne's memory will also live on through her two adoring sisters Patricia McCracken and Linda Haviland-O'Neil.

Anne will be remembered as someone who could be found at the beach in the summer, kayaking in the sun, and always taking her walks or going hiking in her spare time. She was someone who truly loved the great outdoors. She had many pastimes such as painting, reading, birdwatching, spending time with her close friends Sharon Hewitt and Pam Werner, but the most important thing to Anne was always making time for her close family, being by her husband's side, going on family vacations, and being a mom to her two amazing daughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Interment immediately following at St. John's cemetery, West Street, Attleboro.
