Police Appreciation

Posted

Luke Larkin of Swansea will be Confirmed this Fall at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Seekonk. As part of his preparation, he completed a service project to show support for local law enforcement and put together appreciation backpacks for the Swansea Police Department.

He received some great support from the community. The backpacks include items such as thank you cards, cookies, hand sanitizer, notepads/pens, paracord bracelets, Beanie Babies for children they encounter in stressful situations, gift cards from Chick-fil-A in Seekonk, The Ice Cream Barn in Swansea, and bakery treats from The CornerStone Bakery in Swansea.

We are grateful to all the officers who watch over and protect our community. We appreciate their hard work and sacrifice!
A special thank you to our donors The Ice Cream Barn, Chick-fil-A and the CornerStone Bakery!
