Seekonk – Maryclaire (Donnelly) McMahon, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Robert “Bob” W. McMahon for nearly fifty-seven years. Born in New Rochelle, New York, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Stiller) Donnelly.

Maryclaire graduated from New Rochelle High School, New York, and continued her studies in the insurance industry. She attained her insurance broker’s license and worked at New Rochelle Insurance Agency in New York. After raising her family in Rye, New York, the family relocated to Seekonk in 1986. Maryclaire was a faithful communicant of St. Margaret Church, Rumford, an accomplished figure skater and sang with the adult chorus at Bishop Feehan High School, Attleboro. She enjoyed skiing, listening to Irish music and dedicated her life to her home and family. Maryclaire was a social butterfly who loved people and left a lasting impression in everyone’s life that she encountered. Her beautiful presence and gregarious personality will be greatly missed.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two sons, R. Douglas McMahon and his wife, Andrea, of Norton, MA and Craig S. McMahon and his wife, Gayle, of North Smithfield, RI and four grandchildren, Kaylin, Carly, Teagan and Kellen McMahon. She was the sister of her late twin brother, Peter Donnelly, and late sister, Jean McKay.

Her funeral was held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Interment followed at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation was held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations to either Amedisys Foundation, C/O Beacon Hospice, 182 N.
