In the later years of her life, Janice was blessed with the joys of her three grandchildren, Audrey Grochmal, Calvin Garriepy and Hudson Grochmal. Janice is also survived by her brother Dennis Staba as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Maureen Hanson.

Janice loved helping people, including over her nearly 40-year career as a physical therapist. Janice retired in 2014 from Sturdy Memorial Hospital where she was fortunate to work with wonderful colleagues who became life-long friends.

Janice's faith was very important to her. She was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church for almost 50 years. She enjoyed being an eucharistic minister for several years and was a very active volunteer at the parish as well as at Bishop Feehan High School and other organizations.
