Agnes I. (Bettencourt) Rose

Agnes I. (Bettencourt) Rose 88, of Wheeler Street, Rehoboth, MA, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Laurelwood at the Pinehill's, Plymouth, Massachusetts, she was the wife of the late Joseph L. Rose.

Born July 11, 1933, in East Providence, R.I., she was the daughter of the late, Joseph & Emily (Motta) Bettencourt.

Mrs. Rose worked for the United States Department of Agriculture for eleven years retiring as program assistant. She was a former member of the Ladies Guild and a recipient of the Marian Medal.

She leaves two children, Debra Kenworthy of Port Charlotte, Florida and Joseph B. Rose of Bridgewater, New Hampshire, four grandchildren, Stephanie Goodwin, Hugh Kenworthy IV, Joseph Rose, Jason Rose and Eight great Grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held Monday February 14, 2022, at 8:30 am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, R.I., to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, R.I.
