Rumford Little League Gears Up For another Exciting Season

Posted

The crack of the baseball bat, sounds of kids’ cheers, and tempting smells of ballpark fare are here as the Rumford Little League season swings into action at Kimberly Ann Rock Field this spring. After a long winter stuck indoors, kids are thrilled to get back onto the fields and prepare for another action-packed baseball season.

One of those teams is Rexel Energy Thunder, led by head coach John Provencher, with support from assistants Ken Camp, John Greene, and Steve Narkawich. Kids are practicing several hours a week to prepare for the season ahead.

Despite the intensity of practices, kids are all smiles as they participate in hitting and fielding drills, while working on their strength, speed, and agility. The team is pictured after winning their first scrimmage.
