Nancy Madden Lukasiewicz, 87, of Argyle Avenue, Riverside, formerly of Preston Drive, Barrington, died peacefully on August 16, 2024, at the Hope Health Hulitar Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Dr. William C. Lukasiewicz D.D.S.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Nolan) Madden, she lived in Riverside for 16 years, previously residing in Barrington for 50 years.
Mrs. Lukasiewicz was a Teacher at the East Bay Early Childhood Center, Barrington before retiring in 1997.
Nancy was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a volunteer for the Barrington Tap-In Program. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in various bridge leagues. She also enjoyed gardening, skiing, golfing and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by two sons, William C. Lukasiewicz III and his wife Amy of Havertown, PA and J. Paul Lukasiewicz and his wife Laurie of Winchester, MA; a son-in-law, J. Bolster of Portland, ME and five grandchildren, Cole and Reed Lukasiewicz and Stephen and Ani Lukasiewicz and Quinn Bolster. She was the mother of the late Susan M. Bolster, grandmother of the late Hope Bolster and sister of the late Joseph Paul Madden and his late wife Cynthia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington on Saturday November 9, 2024 at 12 noon. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
