Margaret "Margo" (Tatoian) Rueb 94, of Riverside, died Monday, March 3, 2025 peacefully at her home.

She was the mother of Gregory Rueb of Barrington, Eric Rueb of East Providence, and the late Valerie Norbury of Portsmouth. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Vartoohe and Setrag Tatoian. Margo was the sister of the late Sarah Matigian and former spouse of the late Willis Rueb.

As a young woman, Margo worked as a jewelry maker at Coro’s Jewelry in Providence, Rhode Island. She was later a cook at Nathanael Greene Middle School in Providence. Margo was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence.

Margo’s proudest accomplishment was being a loving mother and Nana to her 7 grandkids. Some of her fondest memories included spending summer vacations in Old Orchard Beach, Maine with her children and grandchildren.

She loved working around kids and took pride in her Armenian roots, cooking traditional dishes and hosting robust family gatherings. She loved spending time soaking up the sun on the beach and going for long drives, especially to the Maine coast for lobster rolls and fudge. Margo enjoyed traveling to Montreal, Quebec City, Nova Scotia and many other places with her family.

Besides her children, Nana leaves her 7 beloved grandchildren, Dalton Rueb, Amolia Rueb, Annie Rueb, Vanessa Sinnott, Christopher Rueb, Christina Farinelli, and Alyssa Bracy and 6 great grandchildren, Avery and Savannah Rueb, Kaleb Montecalvo, Tulsi and Samara Bixler, and Benjamin Rueb.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown.
