EPHS 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The East Providence High School Hall of Fame Committee announces the induction of five new members to the High School Hall of Fame (HOF). The 2026 HOF Induction Ceremony will be held at East Providence High School on Sunday October 18, 2026 with a reception at 12 noon followed by dinner at 12:30 p.m. The reception and dinner will be held inside the James T. Kanelos student commons (cafeteria) and the ceremony will be held in the auditorium.

Tickets for the event are $40. Each and cover the cost of the ceremony plaques and dinner.  Tickets can be purchased by mailing a check to: EPHS Hall of Fame Committee, PO# Box 16571, Rumford, R.I. 02916.  Tickets can also be purchased online at: https://ephshof2026.eventbrite.com/

The 2026 EPHS HOF Inductees are:

  • Nate Cahoon (Class of 1993):Academic excellence (Salutatorian, 4.0 GPA), U.S. Air Force service, GSA federal leadership, and his pivotal community work co-chairing the EPHS Building Committee to build our new high school. Former School Committee & City Council member.
  • Rob Traverse (Class of 1985):A 20-year coaching legacy (250 wins, 3 division titles, 2013 Coach of the Year), lifelong dedication as an EPHS educator/counselor, and his continued work with youth sports and civic programming.
  • Jennifer Lee (Rebecchi) (Class of 1988):Townie roots turned Academy Award-winning history maker—first female director of a Disney animated feature (Frozen), first woman to direct a $1B+ box office hit, and former Chief Creative Officer of Disney Animation.
  • TJ DelSanto (Class of 1989):Decades of trusted weather broadcasting on WPRI 12, paired with his constant community engagement visiting East Bay classrooms.
  • Marilyn MacDonald (Honorary Inductee):Representing the heart of Townie pride through decades of grassroots volunteering, youth sports leadership, and civic dedication.
