East Providence Democrats Sponsoring Food Drive Saturday March 22nd

In conjunction with the RI Democratic State Committee, all local committees, including the East Providence Democratic City Committee, are sponsoring food drives. The East Providence Democrats are sponsoring their food drive to benefit the locally-based 'Good Neighbors Pantries.'

Rhode Island food pantries are in great need to replenish their food inventories. Donations of non-perishable food items and canned goods are needed.

"Please come support us in our food drive benefiting good neighbors," said City Democratic Chairman James Christopher Clancy. "The good neighbors organization helps feed many people in need. Please do your part to help support them. Drop off sites for donations Saturday morning, March 22nd, are at Saint Brendan‘s Church in Riverside or Newman Congregational in Rumford. Both places will be drop off sites between 9am and 12 noon," added Clancy. "Let’s have a good showing for our community."
