Dorothy R. Fitzgerald, LPN

Dorothy R. Fitzgerald, LPN, 87, a longtime resident of the Scandinavian Nursing Home, and previously living in the Riverside area of East Providence, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Dwyer) Fitzgerald. Dorothy was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. Her lifetime career was devoted primarily to the care of children.

She is survived by her niece, Patricia Bianco of Warwick and her close friends the Guarino family of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Michael Fitzgerald.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
