A Letter to Ward 2 from Kevin Pereira

Dear East Providence Neighbors,

I’m Kevin Pereira, and I’m running to represent Ward 2 on the East Providence City Council. I was born and raised here, and I care deeply about the neighborhoods and people that make this city a place I am proud to call home.

As a Certified Public Accountant and audit advisor for nearly a decade, I know how important it is to carefully ask questions about public spending. I’ll bring that expertise to City Hall while staying focused on what residents would like to see every day: safe streets, well-maintained neighborhoods, affordable housing, and support for local businesses.

I’ve spent this campaign listening to residents about what’s working and what needs more attention. If elected, I’ll continue to show up, ask the hard questions, and make sure Ward 2 residents have a voice in decisions that affect their lives.

I would be grateful for your vote on November 3. Together, we can build a stronger East Providence.

Sincerely,
Kevin Pereira
