Overview of basic computer usage and maintenance, as well as introductory tutorials for internet browsing, creating Word documents, and formatting spreadsheets in Excel. Bring your own devices, or use ours!

Come to the Weaver library for introductory conversations about Facebook, Twitter, Insta, LinkedIN, and networking in the social media age. Bring your own devices and questions! Topics include creating profiles, sharing content, navigating sites, and maximizing platform tools. All skill levels welcome!

Take a ‘digital’ tour of library technology resources and services on offer. Come explore the library catalog, our eZone database of eBooks, Kanopy, Flipster, future event programming, and much more! Bring your devices, or use ours! No registration required, all ages welcome!

Word on the Street: MS Word Introduction and Intermediate Functions @ Weaver Library

Where did my document go? Learn how to resize pictures or embed a video in my documents. Stop by the Weaver Library for an introduction to Microsoft Word, where Staff will be available to answer questions, as well as offer general advice to create professional documents.

Facts and Fake news: Navigating the 21st Century Media Landscape @ Weaver
Saturday, March 14th, 12pm-3pm

Exploring the media landscape, as well as tools to help identify accurate or misleading news information. This event includes a survey of current internet media resources, strategies for identifying information or sources, and a space to reflect on some of our own individual news and information habits. All are welcome! No registration required.
