Thomas L. Rotondo

Thomas L. Rotondo, 79, of Rumford, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Cherry Hill Manor. He was the husband of the late Susan L. (Trahan) Rotondo.

Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Louis F. Rotondo and Olympia (DiBiasio) Zompanti. Mr. Rotondo worked in the restaurant industry for many years before he retired. He was an avid golfer, he played in several golf leagues and he was a fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Tom also found great joy in cooking. He especially loved preparing holiday dinners for his family. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of cooking with his family as he taught them how to make “Sunday gravy”.

Tom leaves behind three children; his daughter Karen J. Kenney and her husband Tim, his daughter Cheryl L. Rich and her husband Scott, and his step-son David M. Accinno and his wife Cheryl. He also leaves seven grandchildren; Brittany, Tayla, Sara, Christopher, Rushelle, Caroline and Kristen and two great grandchildren, Leeann and Felicity. He was the step-father of the late Jennifer J. (Accinno) Ormerod.

His funeral and visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 9:00AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service at 11:00 AM in the Church of the Epiphany, 136 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
