Stewards of the Woonasquatucket River Join Forces for Earth Week

The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) and Revive the Roots are coming together to host an earth week cleanup at Stillwater Reservoir on Tuesday April 20th from 10am-2pm. With the WRWC based in the lower watershed, and Revive the Roots located in the upper watershed, this partnership symbolizes efforts to connect community members along the Woonasquatucket River from Providence to Smithfield. This cleanup event is part of the WRWC’s Earth Week featuring recreational, educational, and cleanup opportunities open to the public including a community clean day at Riverside Park in Providence on Earth Day 4/22.
