Rita C. Hall-Viau

Rita C. Hall-Viau, 82, formerly of Catalpa Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on January 3, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Edgar J. and Albertine (Blouin) Viau, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mrs. Viau was a Program Coordinator for the Rhode Island Bar Association for 15 years before retiring in 2003.

Rita was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

She is survived by three sons, Charles E. Hall Jr. and his wife Michelle of East Providence, David C. Hall and his wife Darlene of Riverside and Stephen J. Hall and his wife Joanne of Belton, Texas; a sister, Diane Sosnosky of Florida, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was the sister of the late Catherine Kabaze.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a funeral service in the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, 135 New Meadow Road, Swansea, MA at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
