Phoebe Andrade

Phoebe Andrade, 94, of Riverside passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Antonio Andrade to whom she was married 68 years.

Born in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Margaret (Mello) Mello. Mrs. Andrade was an assembler and foot press operator in the jewelry industry for many years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.

She leaves one son, Ronald J. Andrade of Riverside, two grandchildren, David Andrade and Lisa Huguenin and her husband Max, four great grandchildren, Cole, Paige, Piper and Nolan and her daughter in law Joann Andrade. She was the mother of the late Donald J. Andrade and sister of the late William Mello, John Mello, Myron Mello, Fred Mello and Margaret Lonardo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, 79 North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9-10 in St. Francis Xavier Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the East Providence Council #1528, Knights of Columbus, 3200 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, RI 02915 would be appreciated.
