Nicholas Florio 65, East Providence, R.I., passed away suddenly at his home Sunday, April 17, 2022. He was the son of Josephine (Vona) Florio and the late, Frank Florio Sr.

Mr. Florio is survived by three children, Nicholas Florio, Jr., of East Providence, R.I., Nicole Florio (Cyprian) of Seekonk, Massachusetts, Anthony Florio of East Providence, R.I., and their mother Barbara Carrier of East Providence, R.I.,

Three brothers, Andrew Florio of East Providence, R.I., James Florio (Laura) of East Providence, R.I., Frank Florio Jr., of Cranston, R.I.,

He was the grandfather of Daysi & Gianna Clarke of Seekonk, Massachusetts.

He was a lifelong resident of East Providence, R.I., a 1974 Graduate of East Providence High School and a Graduate of Rhode Island School of Electronics, a communicant of Our Lady of Loreto Church.

His love for Electronics at an early age led to a job at Radio Shack and starting his own TV repair business. He went on to a sales position at Zayre, Chouquett Company, Marshall Electric and then national sales for appliance companies, Eureka, Frigidaire, Hotpoint and Tappan.

For His love of cars, He recently was working a part time job with Manheim Auto Auction in North Dighton, Massachusetts. The Family would like to thank Brenden Warrell and his staff for Being so accommodating and caring to Nick.

His Funeral will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 7:30 am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, R.I., to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, R.I., Burial will follow at Saint Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston, R.I.,

Calling Hours will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME. In Lieu Of Flowers Donations In His Memory Can Be Made To: The American Parkinson’s Disease Association of RI at: www.apdaparkinsom.org/communit/rhode-island  Mr. Florio attended support groups at Evergreen Nursing Home and participated in several Fundraising walks.
