Marie J. (Santagata) Oliver

Marie J. (Santagata) Oliver, 88, of Riverside, died on Thursday Feb. 24, 2022 at Hope Hospice in Providence.

She was the wife of the late Jack Oliver.

Marie was born in Providence the daughter of the late Crescenzo and Josephine (Pari) Santagata.

She was a homemaker, Marie has lived in East Providence for over 55 years, coming from Providence.

Marie enjoyed spending time at the East Providence Senior Center, playing card games, traveling, cribbage and drinking coffee at the local coffee shop.

She is survived by her stepson David Oliver of Swansea, MA. her stepdaughters Dianne Hughes of East Providence and Arlene Northup of East Providence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Marie was the mother of the late Jackie Oliver. She was the sister of the late Leo Santagata, John Santagata, Peter Santagata, Raymond Santagata, Anthony Santagata , Esther Marcozzi, Molly Conti and Anna Costa.

Funeral services are private. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
