On May 6th, 2022, after a long and courageous battle Jerry Ray Johnson passed away quietly at his home in Florida surrounded by his loving Family.

Jerry was born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah and after 4 years of active duty in The United States Navy moved permanently to Rhode Island in 1962 where he would become a talented and highly skilled Electrician working for decades in the IBEW Local 99 Union.

Jerry had many passions and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying a lifetime in the woods and on the water fishing for trout and blue fish, hunting deer, pheasant and creating wonderful memories with his father, brothers, stepson, Grandson's brother in-law's and nephews. Jerry will be most remembered for his undying love and generosity to his family. He truly was devoted to all his loved ones and friends, and he will be dearly missed.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Jo-Ann Johnson (Malone-Amaral) of Hudson Florida and East Providence RI and his loving daughter Pamela Ann Johnson of Little Compton RI and brother Randy Johnson of Salt Lake City Utah. His Stepson Thomas R Malone Jr and wife Jean Ann of Johnston RI. His Stepdaughter Beth Ann Cacicia (Malone) of Coventry RI.

He leaves behind his Grandchildren Janelle Sartini of Little Compton, Jill Ann Sartini of Little Compton and is predeceased by his Grand Daughter Kimberly Sartini of Little Compton. Jerry leaves behind his step Grandchildren Thomas R Malone III and Fiancé Amanda Mitchel of Boston Massachusetts, Robert Joseph Malone of Barnstead New Hampshire, Lindsey Arlene Ramirez (Malone) and Husband Robin of Alexandria New Hampshire, Chelsea Leigh Wallace (Malone) and husband Aaren of Cranston RI, Steven Caccia Jr of Cranston RI, Adam Caccia of Cranston RI, Brooke Caccia of Cranston RI and Kyle Malone-Robbins of Coventry RI.

Jerry also leaves behind his Great Grandchildren, Lilly Rose Farias and Lorelai Winter Wallace

Jerry is predeceased by his Parents Charles and Ruth Johnson and his brother Lyle Johnson all of Salt Lake City Utah.

His funeral service will be held Friday, May 20,2022 at 10:00am in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence.

Burial with Military Honors will follow at 11:30am in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are FRIDAY MORNING from 8:30am to 10:00am, prior to the service.
