Janice M. (Rose) Burke
Janice M. (Rose) Burke, 85 of East Providence, passed away on Sunday August 21,2022 at Hope Hospice, in Providence.
She was the wife of the late Robert R. Burke.
Janice was born in New Shoreham, Ri, the daughter of the late Cornelius C. and Marion (Heffernan) Rose.
Mrs. Burke was a self-employed housekeeper, working in private residences.
She has been a resident of East Providence for over 50 years, coming from New Shoreham. She was a member of the Seekonk Congregation of the Kingdom Hall, Jehovah’s Witness.
Janice was very active with the activities at the Kingdom Hall.
She is survived by her daughters Marietta Holmes of Riverside and Donna Stephens of Pawtucket.
Janice was the sister of Larry Rose and Bobby Rose.
Mrs. Burke was the grandmother of Andrew Stephens, Elizabeth Stephens, Candace Antaya, Adam Stephens, and Amon Stephens.
She was the great grandmother of Kaitlyn Burke and Casey Burke.
Janice was the mother of the late Robert “Bobby” Burke.
Funeral services are private.
She will be buried in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
