Idalina (DeCosta) Almeida, A Memorial Mass has been scheduled for Idalina (DeCosta) Almeida, 97, of Winslow St., Riverside, who passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Evergeen House. She was the wife of the late Ramiro Almeida.

Born May 24, 1922, in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nazario DeCosta and Maria Linhares. Idalina was an avid Red Sox fan and loved playing bingo.

She was the mother of Ramiro "Ray" Almeida and his wife Marcia of Riverside, Alfred Almeida and his wife Kathleen of Barrington, and the late John Almeida; the grandmother of Christine Enos, Monica Tagger and the late Adam Almeida; great grandmother of Lucas and Jacob Enos, and Olivia and Isaac Tagger; and the aunt of Diane Lawson of New Jersey.

She was the sister of the late Manuel DeCosta, Nazario DeCosta, Mary Masse and Rose Lawson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass, Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter St., East Providence.
