I. William Bothelo

I. William Bothelo, 79, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was the husband of Jacqueline A. (Sawyer) Bothelo to whom he was married for 56 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ireneo and Evelyn (Smith) Bothelo.

Mr. Bothelo was a forklift mechanic for N.E. Lift Truck before retiring. He was a graduate of East Providence High School and has been a longtime East Providence resident. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. He loved fishing with his grandchildren, spending time with all of his family and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, William Bothelo of Tiverton and Robert Bothelo and his wife Sharon of Allen, Texas, four grandchildren, Joshua LeFrancois, Ryan, Keegan and Samantha Bothelo, two great grandchildren, Damian LeFrancois and Mason Bothelo, one sister, Diane Mello and her husband August, one brother, Ronald Bothelo and his wife Robin, sister in-law, Patricia Ogenowski and her husband Melvin, five nieces, Jodie Donaghy, Megan Bothelo, Tera Ann Brady, Sarah Brandt and Jessica Picard. He was the uncle of the late Mark Mello.

His funeral services will be private.
