Florence D. Depatie

Florence D. Depatie, 97, of Rumford, passed away at home in the presence of her family on September 28, 2022. She was the wife of the late Lester J. Depatie Jr., and she was the daughter of the late John and Diana (St. Denis) Donahue. Florence is survived by her children, Rev. Donald L. Depatie of Rumford, Robert M. Depatie of East Providence, David L. Depatie of San Diego, CA, Richard J. Depatie of Rumford, Russell F. Depatie and his wife Margaret of Pawtucket, Lynne D. Tuite and her husband Robert of Pawtucket, and William P. Depatie and his wife, Sharon of Pawtucket. Her son, Lester J. (Chuck) Depatie III predeceased her and leaves his wife Janice. She also leaves her nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Donahue, Doris Poirier, Rita Menard, and Robert Donahue.

In addition to being a loving mother, Florence loved to garden, knit and crochet. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 3rd at 10:00 AM in Saint Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours for Florence will be Sunday, October 2nd from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
