Emilia "Emily" Elmasian, 85, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Crestwood Nursing Home, Warren, R.I. She was the former wife of the late Arthur Elmasian.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Siranoush (Maranjian) Hagopian and one of three triplet girls. Mrs. Elmasian was a Secretary for the Seekonk School Department before she retired. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling throughout New England with her friends and family, particularly being fond of the beach and coastal areas. Nothing was more enjoyable to her than sitting by the water and relaxing. Emily's greatest joy was her family. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest enjoyment in life.

She leaves four children, Oscar Elmasian (Chief, E.P.F.D., Ret.) and his wife Kerry of Seekonk, John Elmasian of Pawtucket, Elizabeth A. Elmasian, Esq., of Somerset and Catherine Elmasian Croke of East Providence, four grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Emily-Ann and Mary Elaina, and two great grandchildren, Mac and Eisla. Emily also leaves her beloved two sisters, Sophie Surabian and Mary Bajakian. The three sisters shared a special bond because they were identical triplets who did everything together as children. She was the mother-in-law of the late Richard Croke and Robert J. Traina.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Martha's Church, 2595 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private.
