Edmund T. Korkuc, 94, of Holland Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully at home on March 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. (Beagan) Korkuc.

Born in Seekonk, MA, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Waitkin) Korkuc, he lived in Riverside for 65 years.

Mr. Korkuc was a salesman for the former Nu-Brite Paint Co. for 34 years before retiring in 1993.

Edmund was a graduate of East Providence High School Class of 1945 where he was the Captain of the hockey team. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island Class of 1953.

Edmund was a United States Army Veteran serving during WWII.

Mr. Korkuc was a communicant of St. Brendan Church for over 60 years. He was a former Riverside Little League Baseball Coach that brought his team to Florida to compete in the National Championship.

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah A. Giordano of East Providence and Donna M. Niederberger and her husband David of Riverside; a son, Robert E. Korkuc and his wife Martha of Amherst, NH; a brother, Cardo Korkuc of East Providence; six grandchildren, Sabatino, Melanie, Michael, Megan, Jennifer and Ryan and one great grandson, Leo Edmund. He was the brother of the late Josephine Lamson, Sophie Connors, Helen Siezega, Anthony, John and Stanley Korkuc

His Funeral will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willet Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10:30 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
