Edgar L., “Ted,” Farley, 90, of Anchor Bay, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, died peacefully on April 25, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Cluney) Farley.

Born in Baileyville, ME, he was a son of the late Edgar L. and Addie Mae (Walker) Farley. He attended Barrington College and also worked at Barrington College as well as at the Barrington Christian Academy.

Mr. Farley served as Pastor of the Hornbine Baptist Church, Rehoboth, MA and was an interim Pastor of the North Swansea Baptist Church.

Mr. Farley was a United Sates Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph L. Farley of East Providence and James E. Farley of Riverside and a daughter, Deborah A. Smith of Jamestown. He was the brother of the late Herbert, Herman and Cecil Farley.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday April 29, 2021 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 12 noon. Calling hours are Thursday morning 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
