Dolores C. (Johnson) Falaguerra, 89 of East Providence, died Wednesday, February 16,2022 at Miriam Hospital.

She was the wife of Louis Falaguerra, they have been married for over 68 years. She was born in Providence the daughter of the late William T. and Edith (Horrocks) Johnson, Sr.

Dolores was a bookkeeper for over 10 years for the Cable TV, Company of East Providence.

She has lived in East Providence for over 68 years coming from Providence.

Dolores was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loreto Church.

She was the past president of Maria Lodge -Sons of Italy, past president of Sun Valley Women’s Golf League of Rehoboth, a member of the Wednesday morning Lady Bug Golf League at Firefly Golf Course in Seekonk.

She was a member of the former Busy Bee Bowling of Seekonk. She and her husband have wintered in Ft. Myers, Florida for over 35 years.

Dolores enjoyed a good shopping trip often, completing puzzles and word search puzzles. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing and was an avid reader .

She was an avid sports fan, watching mostly football and golf, as well as her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughters Susan Allienello and her husband Michael, Sr. of East Providence, Cheryl Silva and her husband Gary, Sr. of Riverside.

Mrs. Falaguerra was the grandmother of Gary Silva, Jr., Lindsee Allienello, Brianna Allienello, Michael Allienello, Jr., Derek Silva and the step grandmother of Michelle O’Keefe and David Allienello.

She was also the step great grandmother of 7.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her 3 fur babies Gracie, Olaf and Chance.

Mrs. Falaguerra was the mother of the late Lu-Ann Falaguerra and the sister of the late William T. Johnson, Jr., Audrey Leveille and Beverly Moan.

Her funeral will be held Monday February 21,2022 at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME,901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence.

Burial will follow at 11:00am in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery,301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Sunday from 4:00-7:00pm in the funeral home.
