City of East Providence officials to host 9/11 remembrance ceremony

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The City of East Providence will be holding a ceremony to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our nation.

WHO:
• East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva
• Council President Bob Rodericks and members of the East Providence City Council
• East Providence Fire Chief Michael Carey
• East Providence Police Chief Chris Francesconi
• East Providence Fire Honor Guard & members of the EPFD
• East Providence Police Honor Guard & members of the EPPD
• Members of the Community

WHEN: Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10 a.m.

WHERE: East Providence City Hall Plaza (Outdoors by the single flag pole)
145 Taunton Ave. East Providence, RI 02914

WHAT: Amazing Grace and National Anthem to be sung by Andrea Vargas, Wreath will be placed by Chief Francesconi & Chief Carey. Remarks by East Providence Public Safety members and City officials.
