Blandina C. Campos

Blandina C. Campos, 97, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was the wife of the late Adelino B. Campos.

Born in Povoacao, Sao Miguel, Azores she was a daughter of the late Joaquim Arruda and Maria do Carmo Arruda. Mrs. Campos worked for Monet Jewelry before she retired. She was a devote Catholic and a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. She was a loving mother and loved spending time with her family.

She leaves six daughters, Marie Costa and her husband Joseph of Rehoboth, Maria Goyette and her husband Jose of Cumberland, Angela Campos and her husband Jose of East Providence, Isilda Correia and her husband Joseph of Rehoboth, Martha Campos of Westerly and Maria Pate and her husband David of Warwick, one son, Steve Campos and his wife Adelina of Florida, one sister, Maria Raposo and her husband Gil of Cape Cod, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Bobby and Michelle Campos and great grandmother of the late David Cabral, Jr. and sister of the late Henrietta, Albertina, Joaquim, Ladislau and Rev. Aristides Arruda.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to St. Francis Xavier Church would be appreciated.
