Adolph “Jack” Gennari, Jr

Adolph “Jack” Gennari, Jr. 95, of Riverside, RI passed away August 22, 2021 at home. He was the husband of Maria E. Gennari for 60 years.

Born in East Providence and a lifelong resident of the city, he was the son of the late Adolfo and Maria (Guidi) Gennari. Mr. Gennari worked for the City of East Providence for 40 years retiring as City Purchasing Agent. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Riverside Post #10 American Legion. He was also a member of the East Providence Council #1528 Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, John and his wife Kathy of Wakefield, Nancy and her husband John Erwin of North Kingstown and Paul and his wife Melissa of Seekonk, MA. He leaves 8 grandchildren, Justin, Timothy, Nicole, Daniel, Rebecca, James, Nicholas, and Christina. He was the brother of the late Dante, George, Eldo “Al” Gennari and Mafalda “Muffie” Tacchella.

His funeral service and visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 11-12 PM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
