Margaret A. (Begley) Cawley

Margaret A. (Begley) Cawley, (84, of Pawtucket Avenue, passed away on March 22, 2017. She was the wife of the late Justice Clifford J. Cawley.

Born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late James J. and Margaret (O’Brien) Begley, she lived in East Providence for 57 years previously residing in Cambridge and Belmont, MA.

Mrs. Cawley was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church. She was a graduate of Regis College, Weston, MA.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen M. Cawley of East Providence and Eileen A. Azar and her husband Brian of Lincoln; a brother, Robert Begley and his wife Ann of Palo Alto, CA; eight grandchildren and one great grandson. She was the mother of the late Maureen A. Porell and sister of the late Mary Begley Hannon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martha’s Church, 2595 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are by the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, East Providence.
