I am writing this letter to express my extreme gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful Beacon Hospice volunteers. Your compassion, dedication and unselfish acts of kindness during the most vulnerable time in a person’s life is invaluable. Whether you are sitting vigil with a dying patient, holding the hand of an Alzheimer’s patient, providing pet therapy, playing an instrument or providing respite for a caregiver, you are making such a difference in the lives of our patients and families. I honor you all.
